SLK, with all the hard work doing the carbon on this car, I wouldn't put on the body. You can't even see the stuff with the body over it. Keep this up, and you're sure to have a nice collection. BTW, don't mean to go off topic, but had you finished the eclipse?

haha, test car livery looks completely bold. there are no manufacturer insignia.. I will try to dig up a refference photo.

Excellent attention to detail. This is coming out nicely!
For future reference, the brake disks should be semi gloss black, as they are carbon fiber. I couldnt figure out what the sets of three indentations were on the disks until I saw a real BMW LMP car and saw that they are wear indicators. When you cant see the indentations, the disk needs to be replaced. Good Luck on the rest of the build. We'll be following it! |

In the meantime, I got the second coat of paint covered..... mettalic black. what do you think so far?
