Mirror swap 1999 LS 5.3 Z71 4x4
So the ratchet mechanism on the driver's side fold gave out. ASSuming that it's a "replace" as opposed to "repair" issue is it possible to bolt on a "power folding" heated mirror from say an Escalade or something of comparable year as opposed to a power, folding, heated mirror? Am I getting greedy? Should someone tell me to shut up and be thankful that it's a lousy $40 part new and it could be so much worse?
