Tpms

I have a 2005 Yukon XLT. It has the Tire Pressure Monitoring System and I noticed that the valve stem is a different design and looks like you can't replace the actual valve stem! I guess that i'll have to have the tire removed and install a whole new Stem assembly?
I bought this truck in 2012 and absolutely love it. It has close to 200,00 miles on it and runs great. Thanks for any help.

Re: Tpms

Mrs. Cusser bought a 2005 XL Yukon Denali in 2010. The tire pressure monitors have never worked, apparently there were some issues on them as this was early in their development. So we really don't know if just one is bad (but believe that all four are bad). So we've never really priced out repairing these, just check our pressures monthly and before doing towing.
