2001 Altima help

I have a 2001 Altima that was running fine and suddenly stopped accelerating while driving down the road. It would allow me to accelerate up to 2500 rpm, but no further. I then attempted to limp it home, but it died. Towed it home and it would crank and idle, but when u gassed it hard it would die and take a while to crank back up like it was starved of fuel. I then replaced the fuel filter and pump, but didn't fix it. Found a code reader and got mass air flow sensor and knock sensor. Found a rip in the air hose going from the air box to the intake manifold so I replaced that hose and cleared the codes. It now idles perfectly, you can slowly press the gas petal and it will rev all the way up, but if you press it hard it dies like its starved for fuel. I attempted to drive it down the road and it would die at 2500 rpm now mater how slow I pressed on the gas. The only code it shows now is knock sensor. I leaning towards the TPS sensor, but wouldn't that throw a code? Needing help before I throw any more money at it.
