the creators of Grand Turismo should team up with the creators of Burnout

Re: things you would like in GT5
how bout , u buy the base car, at the start, not the gtr skyline for example, how bout the gts version, then as u go thru u can upgrade it urself, kind of like nfs type but still the same thing as gt. start with more than 10g, maybe 20, most cars cost that much, or 15 if u wanna start with like a civic. forza gives u 23k or something, i found that a good idea. also dnt replace the used car lot with the saem damn car again, i dnt wanna buy a 3000gt vr4, than find it again nxt week.
also u dnt choose weather a car is m/t or a/t. wen u buy a race car, its only maual, i'ev never seen one that a/t. wwen u go to buy one u choose(for a new car) for used they are either depending on wat the original owner got. how is it that i can buy an automatic in a 3000gt vr4, which in real life was only a manual, trust me i own the sister car of it. more realism, not shitness. they are all good games, but forza is looking better than gt. |

Re: things you would like in GT5
the reason for having an automatic in a manual only car is that some people find it too difficult to press a button when they want to change gears.
in nearly every car, the auto version also has fewer gears than the manual, and usually has shorter gearing to help make up the acceleration that will be lost to the tranny. none of this appears in GT4. does it matter, i dont think so. |

Re: things you would like in GT5
i dnt really think that if they attempted to sell gt5 on the 360 it wouldnt b bad, the only reason i bought regular xbox was for forza(360 wasnt out yet) and i admit it is a great game, but it's not everything i want, all it has better than gt4 is damage and graphics(the system)

Re: things you would like in GT5
I've always believed that polyphony digital was a part of sony, but this could very well be not true, but either way, GT is one of those "sony only" games in my eyes (kinda like project gotham racing or halo for xbox). With sony in the picture, I think it would be stupid for GT5 to be available for 360 as this can very well hurt ps3 sales. I mean be honest, would you still buy a ps3 if GT5 was also on 360, i sure as hell wouldn't. The game series itself however would make a lot more money if it was on an xbox platform also, no doubt and would be nice to see as it could possibly look better on a microsoft product.

Re: things you would like in GT5
no u got a point that it would hurt ps3 sales, but i went from playing forza on xbox to playing gt4 on ps2, let me tell u that was a mistake, graphics are so much worse on ps2 its unbelievable. the realism is much better on forza, but thats just the game itself.
the only reason people would still buy ps3 is for other games that are only made for ps3. some other things they should consider with gt5, when u wash the car, it looks cleaner. body shops, so if they do add damage, not only does it cost to get fixed, but it wont allow u to race that car in the next race. and now that ea has basically given up rights on ferrari and lambo and porsche, include them too, but dnt leave out all the other rare cars like cizetta. bring back some cars, even from companies that dnt exist anymore, like vector, venturi, plymouth, desoto. another thing, wen u unlock a car thru racing, it stays unlocked, i accidently sold my f1 car, so i had to rerace the 24hrs nuringburg to get. o and on nuringburg, put in some of the other tracks it has to offer thats all i can think of now, i just really wanna race vectors again, and a porsche 924 carrera |

Re: things you would like in GT5
i'm surprised vector hasn't been added to the lineup in the first 4. Similar to Lotus with sleek aircraft like styling and good amount of v8 power. Deserves to be in the game.

Re: things you would like in GT5
vector was in gt2, made me happy, its the only rason i still have the game. lotus has been in all but the 1st one.
the only reason vector wont b in another game is because it's not vector anymore, and basically the company is split between two other companies, cant get the rights. i als o want fisker in it, and of course the veyron. also instead of there being 8 skylines to choose from in the nissan dealer alone, have it in colomns, get to the skyline, then scroll down to get the one u want, hit x, and choose the color. also custom color and decals, cause face it, the only way to sell a ps3 and gt5 will be if its better than forza 2, the game and system would b like $800. but f2 and 360 would b like 350, depending on which 360 is chosen. different discs for arcade and simulation, it would allow for more to be put on the simulation cd and the arcade disc. o and be able to start another series of races without losing the series ur in. and some cars from the 30's, hot rods, and duesenbergs, yes that company still exists, they made a car in 03 |

Re: things you would like in GT5
forza motorsports 2 creators did a great job, they must've read this forum, there are only 4 SKYLINES in the game. granted the list doesnt have the tuner cars, so god only knows wat the final count will be. take a look at the list google forza motorsports 2

Re: things you would like in GT5
Free roam would be interesting, but who would honestly drive at speed limit?? It's hard enough in real life let alone in game!!!!! That would get mind numbing I believe, cool idea but it'll never happen!! Body kits is a good idea also, I think the customisation does need to be stepped up, look at Forza on Xbox, admittadely they only have a few kits but it makes buying a car more interesting & personal!!
