About delorian, to buy or not to buy

Well, back to the point on a thread that was closed due to people actin like tools...

RIPLingenfelter, I drive a 12 sec 240sx, and one buddy of mine has a 9sec 240sx, both timed at various tracks, and both are driven daily to work, school, friends houses etc.

BUT, any car can be made fast. What do you want your car to do? Get good gas milage, well most fast cars are out then. Handle? American muscle wont do it generally, without massive upgrades, the vette will handle though *not as easily as the lotus suspension on the D though...personal experience* Saftey? Hit something at 120+ your dead anyway...unless you invest in it alot.

The D- honestly if you lighten the car *no, its not THAT light stock* and change your exaust and intake. Make a ram air intake and mess with the timing. Youll be way faster. DMC-12 has a pretty damn quick D without doing anything but cutting some weight, hes smoked S2k's, muscle cars and all, but he cant hang with the real fast machines.

Corvette- Fast right off the get-go, but there are DEFENTALLY relialibality issues. Parts are about as expensive on both cars but that engine will require work *from personal experiences and experiences of friends* and if you really want more power, youll need alot of work *noone argue with me, i'm stating MY point , sod off or state your opinion if you dont like it* Youll handle well but its not easy to get used to, its power makes it harder to keep controll of to a novice.

Both cars I like, I respect both but have lost faith in all things Chevy if past 73. *much like MOST car makers*

Good luck with whatever you buy!

ps... The D is smaller than the 240sx So if you dont want an "econo box" might not be for you....

User Guidelines It's important to read, like the Bible. But unlike the Bible we will strike you down if you jerk off around here.
