Chicago World of Wheels
Hello everyone. Chicago's World of Wheels was this past weekend. Eric and I weren't in it this year but we still went out to help our buddy, Rich. His canadian spec D with the grand national motor took first in his class. The GT40 RC took second in Custom 4x4. It was a pretty cool show and people were even asking for their autographs. Hilarious! Rich had a tv set up with the episode from Discovery Channel playing. Edited to show just their build and on a loop. It was a big hit. The fence around the display and the astro turf was to go along with the theme of "backyard monsters." Entering his DeLorean was a last minute change in plans due to the D-Rex not being able to make it out. So I didn't get a shot of the motor cause it was filthy. If you are interested I can get a shot this week when I go up to the shop.
Later, Marni

I really like those rims...rarely see decent 5-spokers on a D

The rims look good, yes...
...but a complete racing Delorean has not yet born How sad... guess this leaves me as the one who has to make it born...too bad I can't get one (preferably in not so good shape, so I can mod it with less $ and rarety distruction problems)... :P |
