Too big?
Found this DMC on the Web:
18" up front, 19" in the rear. I've been thinking about doing the same to my car, but I've read two different magazine articles which both agree that stock wheel sizes seem to perform the best (in road course times, as tested on a VW and a Civic). Maybe I should just get my stock wheels polished

I do like the look of the stock rims on the D. I am not a fan of the oversized rims and tires for these cars.

That is just ugly IMO. They ruined the whole image of this car with those rims. It just looks wrong....

I like the polished stock rims the best, probably because that's what I had on my D, but I think if you got aftermarket rims and kept them stock size, it might look pretty good, especially deep dish rims.

I would like to put 16 on front and 17s or 18s on rear. Finding the right look and offset is the hard part.

I've seen photos of the "D Rex" before, and each time I wonder:
"How does he see in front of him?"

Hello everyone. I just found this forum. Pretty neat. As for the D-Rex, there are cameras in the front and rear and a monitor inside. My fiancee and I installed them before World of Wheels in Jan. After the much larger super swampers were put on we definetly needed the cameras.
Take it easy, Marni |

Re: Too big?
original dmc wheels look good on delorean. the delorean does not look right with big whells without modding the car body. ie: bodykit
