Aircondition problem, 95 Diesel suburban
My compressor died so I took it in and had a new compressor and dryer installed and recharged, I got a call from the shop that the pipes inside the engine compartment were frosting over and no cooling going inside the cab. He could not figure it out and put my truck back to how it was, what do I do from here? The mechanic thinks something in the condenser or in the cab is clogged,
how can this be flushed out? I am in Los Angeles. |

If the pipes are freezing over, you have a blockage in the system. Ask them if they installed a new orfice tube.If they did not this is probably your problem.

They should have called you before the compressor and drier were replaced advising you of debris in the system and the need for solvent flushing and a possible condenser replacement. This would have been evident when they removed the original O-tube.
