Re: Black cherry Project
Do you have a builder block to start assembling all your stuff or are you gathering things little by little until you can put your car down and rebuild that motor ?
Header looks good and like a space saver too..what do you plan to bolt to it ?

Re: Black cherry Project
Got a 50 trim for now. Going to see how badly I can max it out.
I'm pulling the motor that is currently in it and freshening it up. I have everything to get it running, just I would like to run some cams in it and larger injectors. Other then that, got everything

Re: Black cherry Project
Sweet. I'm looking forward to seeing another 1g monster =) although I don't favor the body style I do love how much you can do with them..way more options than my 2G RS lol..
So your in Idaho huh ? You should come out and run RMR , I think reopen is like is here in a couple weeks or you could run the salt flats ....gotta love Utah. We have some wicked midnight drags ( makes me miss my camaro )

Re: Black cherry Project
What's the RMR, I assume a run? I know for summer, I wanna go back down there to go to lagoon!!!!!!
But I love the feeling of sitting in a 1g, it's so snug and safe feeling. I had to drive my friends 2g and it was akward feeling. Harpoon the whale.. I called his 2g the whale :P

That's funny. I've never sat in a 1G before but like I stated earlier I think the insides are all ugly and old looking. Plus the automatic seatbelt thing drives me crazy. My old Escort had that and I wanted to break it. EDIT: And colored tools are the best when working. So much easier than trying to read the sizes and all. "Quick! I need the blue wrench!" I love them.

Re: Black cherry Project
Oh I know, they're badass!
But I love the auto seatbelt, my car gives me a hug every time I get it. It loves me!

It could also be touching you every time you get in if you want to look at it in a different perspective.

Re: Black cherry Project
Geez, I overlook this thread a few times and now you guys are talkin about boning cars...
Although I suppose thats not as bad as waking up in your bed one morning with your FMIC after a heavy night of drinking...
