Samurai, concerning me I'm currently working on other projects, so the Murcielago has unfortunately to wait

Re: Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT - Scale Production transkit - Kit Review

Remember that there were 4 different teams running these in "internationl" competition. Krohn*Barbour, Scream GT (2 verisons 1 all black, 1 black and orange) and a Japanese team (which ran all CF). None of them are the same in terms of aerodynamic attachments, interiors, exteriors...Heck, even the K*B Murc's differed from race to race!

So as always, reference your particular car and have fun!

Re: Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT - Scale Production transkit - Kit Review

Well I suppose it's better to get this thread to the first page than starting another one.

I got this transkit today and I have a question. I've spent this afternoon looking through it from every way, and I didn't realize anything missing. Now I arrived home, used the search engine to find this thread and I've discovered that some decals are missing:

I didn't get with my kit the ones with the green arrows.

I've taken a look at the version I would like to do (orange and black) and I think that with the other decals (the big sheet) I don't need anything more to complete the model.

But you know, you have to ask. Is that smaller sheet a "backup"? Or it's necessary to complete the model?

Regards

The smaller sheet is a corrected color sheet for the SCREAM sponsorship. Contact the person you bought it from. Michael has always been good at providing missing pieces. I was missing the instructions from the C5R transkit and he quickly sent them to to the person I ordered it from.

Hi, I just saw your posting in this thread.

Scale Production informed me, that the now sold kits come with ONE new decal sheet. All decals are now included on the bigger sheet.

There were problems with the right flourecent colour on the decal sheets of the first kits, therefore a second sheet was in these kits.
So everything is ok, there exists no second decal sheet in the now sold kits.

Re: Lamborghini Murcielago R-GT - Scale Production transkit - Kit Review

Then perhaps I'll get decals twice. Today I phoned to my distributor to tell about this problem. This afternoon he sent me an email saying that he would say the person of Scale Production to send the missing sheet directly to my house.

Anyway if that's right and the decals I got are the good ones for the car, all is ok for me

Thanks again guys.

Looks good. Nice build. Is the rear diffuser that big on the real car?
