New Project (Peugeot 206 WRC 2002)
Was in my local model shop purchasing another spray can to finish the Calsonic R32 when this jumped into my hands and ended up on the counter
The kit looks absolutely fantastic and has probably the most parts out of any model I have made. I am going to attempt to make a kit as good looking as Rallyraiders, I know its a big ask but damn I'll give it a shot. The kit will be made as a replica of the #3 Panizzi / Panizzi car. Where is the best place to get reference pics for this? Don't worry I will finish the 350Z before I begin on this mammoth task |

I seem to enjoy big decal jobs, I just wait till friday night when there is nobody home, put on some music, and slowly put the decals on at my kit, at my own pace.
Good luck on the kit!

there are so many decals because you can either make:
the #1 car of Burns and reid the #2 car of Gronholm and Rautiainen or the #3 car of Panizzi and Panizzi |

You should enjoy this, I'm working on the 2001 version and it's a joy to build. I notice the extra set of wheels in there, always nice to have spares
If you can find it Richard Burns' book, Driving Ambition, has some useful pics of the 206 interior (as well as some Subaru pics). If not you could try : http://www.ultimatecarpage.com/ http://rally.racing-live.com/en/

We should have a Pug only contest, seems to work for the ITR guys :flash: From the picture it looks like your decals are printed better than mine. On my sheet the blue is out of alignment, unusual for Tamiya. What sort of reference pics are you after? I can email you a few shots of the Panizzi brithers in action on the 2002 Tour de Corse if you like. For general 206 detail shots there are plenty in the reference section of my homepage (see link below), although they are not catalogued by year, event or evolution. |

cheers for the link to the pics.
I do have a question. Where did you get the photoetch kit for the 206? |

I would love to buy that model but toooo damn pricey. It's about $50 to $60 CDN dollars at most hobby shops where I live.
Good luck. |

Got both of them and they are each rather good, but different. If your interested, I'll take some photos and post them so you can see what is in each set. |
