Back session is finished, only have to glue the back wing. I will give the clear coats to the front session before I build the front suspensions, this way I can get a clear job. As daggerlee have told, the High-Tech decals are much easy to handle if we let them in warm water for some more time than the usual. I’m getting much better results now. I don’t know if someone already has build this Tamiya model but the engine cover doesn’t fit to well. The photograph of the model in the instruction papers shows the same problem so I don’t know if this is standard to this model. This model will be resting for some days before I apply the clear coats so it’s time to give some more attention to the Alpine. New updates to come. |

Hi Gains,
Coming together good. I guess the red seems a bit "pale" because of the interior ligthing. It's probably going to look much better in daylight. Very nice so far!! Take your time in finishing the front end 'suspension' etc. Guido |

Time for new progress photos as the F310B begin to show is final form. I only have applied a single clear coat since I get the desire result with it. Front and side wings were fixed as well as all the front suspension. I only have to glue the disk brakes and attach the wheels so the front session is completely finished. Hope you like it so far. |

I have decided to end this making of thread since the work that still is to be done is minimum (glue the back wing, a camera and a antenna). As soon as I get a clear day I will take some photos of the finished model and post them. Anyway here is a final photo that I think is interesting and shows the work done in the undertray. I hope that this thread can be of some use for those who in the future plan to build this model and finish with a thank you for all of you that gave me valuable tips during the construction of this one. |

You are doing a great job! Isn't it ironic that with all the technology that goes into an F1 car, that it has a piece of wood bolted to the chassis!
