I see some people arn't as versed in their geographic locations as I thought, so I will elaborate. First, yes, pdx =Portland. PDX is the Portland International Airport aiport code, so Portland is commenly refered to as "pdx" for short. Secondly, to whoever asked, Since I was talking about Portland and Seattle, and said "this side of the cascades," it's exactly that. The Cascade mountian range physically seperates eastern washington and oregon from western washington and oregon. Portland and Seattle are West of the Cascades, the Tri-Cities and Bend are east of the Cascades. So, since I when I was refering to planning a meet halfway between portland and seattle, "this side of the cascades" ment the side of the cascade mountian range that portland and seattle are on, the western side of the states (oregon and washington) versus the eastern side of the 2 states. I hope this cleared the confusion.

Re: All Northwest Ppl...listen Up

I would be down for a meet down south during the summer. It would give me a chance to go visit my cousin in Pasco while i'm down there.

lol i know, but it isn't very far, only a few hours. I can hit up a meet, and then trek east to pasco to visit my cousin while i'm down south.

that would kick ass. I'd be down for a meet during the summer. I could take a 4 day weekend from work. It'd be fun.

Pasco is about 3 and a half hours away from pdx, maybe 4 (depending on how you drive, lol). I'm not to fond of it, though mostly because my girlfriends dad lives there, and he's an ass, he's really a jerk. I know not everyone there is like that, it's not that but in my mind I tend to connect the area with him. I don't know, if a meet goes down there in the summer, I might go. Keep me posted. We should definatly have one down here on this side of the cascades (western side, seattle/pdx side) too!!

I wasn't really suggesting a meet in Pasco. More like just me saying that it would be cool to have a meet down south, gives me a reason to make the extra few hours drive east to Pasco to visit my cousins and aunt and uncle since I'm almost there anyhow.

Re: All Northwest Ppl...listen Up

it's about 40 miles away from the tri-cites, you could probably figure it out . i'm not too fond about the direction the restaurant is going. we need to hire more skilled cooks there and maybe change the whole freakin menu. i used to go there every summer and help out. i was a dishwasher there from summer of 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95, 97, 98 and was a cook there from summer of 99, 00, and 01. i still have my cooking skillz so don't worry about eating something nasty :P

So you'll cook so there so we don't get something nasty, lol...that sounds like a plan...

Anyways, I'm with GScivic7, lets start to plan a meet down south here for the summer...maybe we can then have one back up north near seattle later in the summer too
