Classic Models Museum Can/Am McLaren M8D in 1/12
Hi,
here are the promised pics form the orange Big-Banger. The kit was very crude and i made lots of parts by myself. At the end i got an nice looking car in my cabinet. Its not the best i ever build, but its ok. Here are some shots. I used mainly zero paints for the color and their 2k clearcoat to seal it. The mirrors are painted with that amazing chrome pens and the result is simply wow! Perfect for smaller parts and retouch factory chrome. Decals comes from my buddy Michael from scalemodeller.de. regards Christian |

It might be an odd thing to focus on but the second (passenger) 'seat' looks great.

Great job! looked like a terrible kit and you've transformed it into a lovely model.

Great job! You managed to turn a really crude looking turd into a beautiful beast. The first race I ever attended was the 1970 Can-Am at Road America, man was it AWESOME!

Great job! I'm picking up my Molotow pens tomorrow. I can't wait to try them out. I hear you just need a glossy surface and they come up great

I saw the WIP, the result is really good but totally stunning when we see what you originally received as a "kit".
