Leaking something. Oil? something else?

Ok, so I was out front of my car, and I looked at the ground and saw these oil stains

So im like thats strange, I dont remember oil stains being here. So I push it back and one of the stains is fresh. So I then look under it and there is stuff dripping out ... creating a new stain

So anyways, here is where it is coming out of, kind of a shitty pic, I can try to get a better one if needed

So it looks and smells like oil, and my dipstick is low, but my car is parked on a slant.

Please advise if it is oil, and if so lemme know how I should torque it down

is it coming from the oil drain bolt? if so you need a new drain plug gasket, they are supossed to be changed every oil change.

yea its coming from that bolt ... guess I will have to go bitch them out for a new gasket ... I wonder if I can get anything else out of it.

Also, before someone comes in here and goes "why dont you change your own oil, its because I never tried cause I dont have the tool to get the filter off.

Get them to replace the plug and the washer that goes with it. They cost next to nothing genuine, but the threads do get eaten with heat and torque and the washer compresses.

It's a cheap fix - I replace mine every 4th change for peace of mind.

Cheers

im with h4bangin. i never use an oil filter wrench, my strong manly grip will always suffice.
