flowmaster 40 or 60?
i want to get a new exhaust and i am leaning towards flowmaster just cuz of the awesome sound it has on my old mans 2.2L S10 (he has a 40 series) i was wondering if i should expect a similar sound from my 2.2L sunfire ( non ecotec)?
if n e one has sound clips they could share from there cavy's or sunfires that'd be great! =D i am not doing a cat back i'm not really aiming for performance as much as i am aiming for an awesome low bassy sort of exhast sound. thanks for ur help guys Chris |

Re: flowmaster 40 or 60?
i am also adding a WAI intake at the same time, its homemade but follows the same path as the stock just goes down slightly farthur so its sorta inbetween WAI and CAI take that into considderation also as i hear this add a bit of a noise just themselves

go to flowmasters website and listen to them on the cars and it will give you an idea. and on the web site it will say if the 40 or 60 is made for sport compacts.

I don't have a clip but i've personally heard a few and sound great, everything from just a muffler to header and the works back. Gotta love 40 series

Re: flowmaster 40 or 60?
so i made my intake today outta PVC and i read it would rattle alot but hey i figured for the cheap cost i'd try it and surprisingly no rattle ? lol
In n e case whats a good site to put sound files on get that first clip done. BTW i love the sound now its not to loud just throaty if i give it gas and when i just drive in town its the same amount as the stock put out I can definatly feel a bit more pull too if i give it gas N e who whats a good site putfile? Actually i shouldn't really be talking, Mines needs a cleaning REAL bad. Well armor all collects dust from over the winter of just sitting around.. btw this is an old pic. I haven't grabbed new ones with the header installed.
