Plymouth What?

I know it is a Plymouth, but a Plymouth what & what year?
Can anyone help me at all? I believe it is made between 1950-1954. I plan on blowing it up as a poster for my grandmother on her birthday in 2 1/2 weeks. And I want to put what kind of car it is in the poster. Again, can anyone help me at all?

P.S. Yes this was her car back then. That is kind of why I'm doing this.

Re: Plymouth What?

It's a 1950 Plymouth.
Given the somewhat elaborate detail visible on the back seat, and the presence of lots of stainless trim, its probably the upscale Cranbrook model.

Re: Plymouth What?

Well, after "some"more heavy-duty searching (& I do mean heavy-duty) I managed to find out that Plymouth Cranbrook didn't come around until 1951. And I also finally found out that it looks like it's a "1950 Plymouth Deluxe 4 door sedan" Unfortunately some of my family (mother, grandma, uncles, aunts...) believe it was bought new in 1953/1954. But as far as I can tell, It is not. So who is right, me or them?

Whoops, you're right. SpecialDeluxe, not Cranbrook.

But it's definitely a 1950. The later Plymouths look different, as seen here:
