1974 Super Beetle
I have a 1974 volkswagon super beetle, i dont know much about cars but i was wondering if its possible to turn the car into an automatic transmission. Thanks!

No, it isn't.
The old air-cooled Beetles is one of very few cars sold in North America that never had an automatic transmission version. (Yes, they did sell a semi-automatic version, but its different than a fully automatic car.) Even if you owned a manual shift car where there was an automatic version, it is still a big job to swap a manual transmission for an auto. Often, it is cheaper simply to sell the manual transmission car and buy an automatic-equipped one. |
