Ferrari Enzo VS Mclaren F1 LM

Mclaren F1 LM

power:652BHP
weight:956KG (roughly)
0-60:2.9
top speed: 225mph

Ferrari Enzo

power: 660bhp
weight: 1350kg (roughly)
0-60: 3.6
top speed:211mph

My data might not that accurate but its close as this post wasa bit rushed. Basically which one do you think is the beeter car?

Re: Ferrari Enzo VS Mclaren F1 LM

The LM is a better car, but your 0-60 for the LM is way off.

Also, when you are posting an image, make sure that you put the "/" in the second [/img], or else it won't appear correctly on the forum. You might want to fix that in your post.

Re: Ferrari Enzo VS Mclaren F1 LM

thx...why is my lm time off?..its deffinetly under 3 seconds, due to the weight loss, power gain and thicker stickied tyres!

Re: Ferrari Enzo VS Mclaren F1 LM

Nope...LM 0-60 times are in the high 3 seconds, with CAR Magazine testing at 3.9 second 0-60 average.

Re: Ferrari Enzo VS Mclaren F1 LM

I dont think a magazine have ever tested the mclaren F1 LM, never mind a brit mag.

That is complete BS, its common sense. the standard mclaren f1, did 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, the LM is lighter, more powerful with thicker stickier tyres, that means even one of those modifications would decreases the 0-60 time, but with all 3 changes now way would the car do a 0-60 in over 3 seconds, unless it was done on a wet track!

Re: Ferrari Enzo VS Mclaren F1 LM

I'm not trying to argue with you. I'm also not one of those fake McLaren fans that thinks he knows about the car. I love the F1; it's my favorite car. I wouldn't say it if it wasn't true.

Also, you may want to check out this thread where this exact topic came up before:
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbul...d.php?t=231420

If anyone at this forum knows about the McLaren F1, it's Peloton25. If you don't believe me, you may believe him.

Re: Ferrari Enzo VS Mclaren F1 LM

Definitely the F1 LM. It's beautiful, it's more powerful, much lighter and comes with a manual gearbox. I also like the central driving position. It's also extremely rare and priceless.

Where did you get this 2.9 number from anyway?

Re: Ferrari Enzo VS Mclaren F1 LM

i cant remember exactly where i got the 2.9 0-60 time but i do remember i got it from a number of sources. Plus it cant see how the 0-60 time would be higher than the standard f1...i realy cant, gear ratios shorter, bigger tyres, lighter etc

basically the car has never bin tested officaly so i doubt we will never know, weird how even though this post is in the nzo forum it is loosing 4 to 1. lol. Does any1 have high res images of the LM? And lastly do you think the LM will be in GT4 considering EA games looses the licenses to mclaren in november?

I honestly don't think it has anything to do with licensing. There are several games out on different platforms that include cars supposedly "owned" exclusively by EA for their NFS series. I'm not sure how that works

I saw an GT4 official car list somewhere, in it there's most Lamborghini's including Gallardo and Murcielago, and Bugatti EB110 and Veyron, and other awesome supercars. No mention of McLaren F1 though

Re: Ferrari Enzo VS Mclaren F1 LM

be careful that, that was not the wish list going round the interent, there is no official car list, apart from people who have got gt4 prologue have put together a list of all the cars on that, and they are suggesting that they will be on the final GT4, so a FINA mclaren long tail is definet, but not sure bout the road cars. I hope there will be a Enzo, mclaren F1 LM, carrera GT and a Salees S7 in GT4, then comparisons of the cars may be more acquirable. (suggesting that GT4 is realistic though)

I may have been a little quick to choose the Mclaren F1 LM over the Ferrari as the enzo does look gorgeouse!

Re: Re: Ferrari Enzo VS Mclaren F1 LM

The LM kicks ass no way in hell would the enzo come close. The lm's hp is 668 the enzo is 650 but the lm is lighter and way better looking. The only thing Mclaren dosent have is M. Schumacher lol. Thats 1 thing they ll never have.

Cant argue with that either cause the drag coeificent (sry if its spelld wrong) Dont real kick in until 100 + on most cars there for the lm is definetly faster 0-60 then 3.2. Does any1 kno when the drag Coe kicks in on the lm?

Does any 1 have the stats from Road & track on the lm. They did a full test a while back.
