Help. Need family size car but simmilar to my type r

basically Iv got a Honda civic type r (59 place fn2, bought for £12500 2 years ago at 25000 miles 1 owner full service) and I'm looking for a family size car (baby on the way) but still enjoy the power and acceleration I'm used to in the civic. Iv had a look at BMW 330d, again a 59 plate, it cost £8495 and they wanted mine as part exchange for £5000 so I just walked away. But just feel like I'm downgrading. I love all the gadgets and technolagy Honda have put into it. I'm stuck on what to do. Basically I want a car under £9000 that is similar as my type r or faster
