Roadmaster blinking red light
I have a 1994 Roadmaster wagon that has a problem I can't solve. There is a small blinking red light on the flat part of the lower dash just below the steering wheel. I bought the car used so I don't know if this is a factory part or aftermarket. It is on and blinking even when the car is turned off. Any idea what this is for? I've looked in the service manual and couldn't find anything that discussed anything like this.

Re: Roadmaster blinking red light
Sounds like an after market security system that no longer works. You could look at the backside of the light and trace the wires.

Re: Roadmaster blinking red light
I kind of tried that. The wires disappear into a tangle of wire inside the dash. After multiple back surgeries it's difficult for me to get down and bend around to examine it.

Re: Roadmaster blinking red light
If your car works with no issues and it's just an irritate. Get a Sharpie and color it black.
