Honda Fit or Kia Soul!

Ok, I am buying my first new car *YAY* and I love the unconventional look of the Kia Soul. I love that the Honda Fit has so much cargo space for how little it is. I am a fan of hatchbacks but need to stay under $20,000. Which would you suggest. I love that the Kia has more accesories (sun roof, more speakers, satilite radio) but I also know how great the reliabilty of a Honda is supposed to be which is important because I will need to be able to drive this car for probably 10 years! Let me know what you think or if you have any other suggestions. BTW downside of the Kia is that the nearest Kia dealership is an hour away

Have you looked at all at Scion? The xD kinda looks like the Fit & Soul, but is backed by Toyota reliability.

I have to say I do love my Honda, but I know absolutely nothing about the Fit other than they had awful commercials. LOL I don't actually know anyone who has ever had a Kia Soul, so I also can't comment on that. I know that didn't help too much, but you happened to ask about 2 cars that I don't know very well. Sorry!

That is kind of funny because yesterday I started doing research on the ScionxB. I love this car, it still has the funky look but does not look as cheap as the Kia. Now to start my research on the Scion xB!

I would love a Fit, considerably more sophisticated than the Kia, and much more civilized than the Scion.

I am going to go test drive a Kia Soul and a Scion xB this weekend. I drove the fit and it was super fun to drive as well. Decisions, Decisions Right now after reading reviews and looking at options and availability I like the Soul and the xB. If anyone has any tips I would gladly listen as I am super nervous about making my first new car purchase and I want it to be something that will last me 10+ years! Which is why I like Kia's warranty.... So confused lol

All 3 will last 10 years more easily, all 3 are very good cars.

They do fit into slightly different parts of the market though, so which one is best is going to depend heavily on what you feel best in.
Remember to look at everything, seating position, storage, etc as well
