04 4.7 in a 02 1500 4x2
I have a 2002 1500 that blew the engine and got a good deal on a 4.7 out of a 04 so its installed now and does not start. I have 2 codes p1391 intermittert loss of cmp or ckp and p0340 no can signal at pcm. On my modis I can read can and crank signal i checked the 5 volt ref and its good along with a good ground and signal from the cam sensor. any ideas guys?

Just to let yo guys know i found the problem. 03 and 04 will work but 02 is differnt. its the crank target wheel. one has a 32 pin wheel ant the other has a 16. only way around is to change harness and pcm
