03 ram not starting
03 5.7 hemi. was runing fine no problems at all, went to leave work cranks fine but wont turn over, then seems to caugh or back fire. any ideas?

I put some gas in because it was low just as a prayer and it started. drove it home and it restarted this morning, went ot leave work and same thing not starting. about the sixth try it turned over and ran fine going home. fuel filter? possible. any help!

do you have any check engine light on?
could be fuel filter yeah. could be air filter. how many miles do you have? |

Check your fuel pressure. you might hear the fuel pump but it may not be putting out enough fuel pressure. also if the check valve in the fuel pump is bad it may not be holding fuel in the lines sometimes resulting in all the fuel in the lines running all the way back to the tank.
no fuel in the lines makes it hard to start till it has made its way to the fuel rail.
