97 LC vs 96 LC
Sold my 96 a few years ago and regreted it everyday since. Looking for another one in a 96 or 97. Are there any real differences between those 2 years? Anything I need to look out for? Also, a lot of the ads I have seen state they are 40th Anniversary models, but I thought those were only in the Silver/Gray. Any info on that?
Hope you guys can help. Also, there does not seem to be too much activity on this board for Land Cruisers. Is ther a more active one (for the 92-97 moels anyway)? |

Re: 97 LC vs 96 LC
Yeah, the 40th anniversary is really nice. I had one back in 97 and it was a really nice truck. I put 100000 miles on it before I decided to trade it in (for another 2000 Land Crusier). Both are great trucks. The 1998 and before have BIG V6's (I think) and the 1999+ have a V8.
