You supply the fluxy's and I'll come with you.
Probly be cheaper to put them in a '85 Cavalier or something Dunno if we could get that going 88 though.

What good will it do without a nuclear reactor or a Mr. Fusion to generate the 1.21 gigawatts?

Cavalier
The '85 Cavalier idea no worky! Doc Brown designed the Flux Capacitor for use with the DMC12. "The De Lorean's stainless steel panels allow for maximum flux dispersal." Besides, if you're going to travel through time... "why not do it with some style?" Of course, wrapping the Cavalier in tin foil may have the same effect. Hmmm...
But I'm letting YOU drive it through the lightening storm

1.21 Gigawatts...
Hmmm... I wonder what 1.21 Gigawatts does to the human body. Any volunteers?

BTTF
The original time machine was going to be an old refrigerator, but after some thinking it was changed... they didn't want kids playing in old abandoned fridges (and dying of suffocation).
When they saw the DMC, they wrote it into the script. I don't think the movie would have been as awesome if the DMC wasn't there. The car help make that movie what it is!!!
