What do you rich folks do for a living?

Lurker here, just wondering what some of you do for a living as I can't help but feel really jealous reading some of the post on this forum. There are so many things I want to buy in my life that I can't, stuck in a 10 hour degrading shift job with pity pay, I barely have time to do anything for myself, WTF?

Edit: Quick update, thanks all for the reply, especially to Ms. Keira, I love you so much. May you live long, apologies for the late reply, just wanted to make sure everything was working properly before I start running my mouth. Thank you so much!

Re: What do you rich folks do for a living?

It's completely normal to be jealous, it's human nature. Channel your anger into something productive, there's no point in getting mad at yourself for being broke. Not having money and time to do things sucks a lot, but it's okay, at least you've got a job. Your current situation is not permanent, things will get better with time.

If you need some help, head over to AlphasCCards subreddit, don't expect to become a millionaire, though, but rather a comfortable thousandaire like us degenerates.

Do you have a skill?
Do you have a trade?
What's your education level?
Don't get a new car every couple years. Worst investment you can do.
Don't get the newest phone.
There are needs and there are wants. Ask that every time you buy something.

Re: What do you rich folks do for a living?

You'll also find out many people are only plastic rich. Many people are 10's of thousands of dollars in debt on several credit cards because they have to have nice things. That doesn't include their ridiculous mortgage or high dollar car payments. Those people only look rich, but in reality live paycheck to paycheck.

I personally have around $4500 in credit card debt myself. I don't appear rich and don't try to act like I am. Only reason I got back like this was I've put off my car rebuild too long and the only way it will ever get done is to spend money I don't currently have and pay it back on a month to month basis. I intend to get back to plastic debt freedom and I will never let myself get in so deep that there is no recovery.
