B18C Identification

Hello all

Well I bought a 99 Integra with a B18C Gsr Swap in it and have not had to many issues with it till now. I finaly decided to solve an oil leak on my car and went to Advanced Auto Parts and got me a oil pan gasket figuring that should be a start. Well I come to find out as I am putting it on that it does not fit. I told advanced that I wanted one for a 99 integra Gsr and that is what they gave me. I guess my motor is not from a 99. How do I find out what year it is ? B18C 1103825 is stamped on the front of the block. Please help me if you can. Thanks

Re: B18C Identification

Call your acura dealership with the id code. There's a bar code on a white/green metal strip just under the metal stamp - that's the tag you want - the other stamped in the metal id's the motor and serial number - kinda like b18c number 185a9ij7 - basically 111/250.

Oooorrrrr..... get a picture of the thing and likely some tech head on here could identify the year and gender just from lookin at it.
