McLaren - Unit 2

The link to this:

http://mclaren.com/page/the-secret-w...nit-2--gallery

Was already posted on PistonHeads for any members there but I thought this photo was particularly intriguing.

See the top right hand corner, looks very much like a GTR under cover.

Judging off the colour and what looks to be a small number patch on the right hand side of the lower bumper (my eyes could be deceiving me but that looks like a 61), could that be #04R?

I don't have any software to enlarge the image

On my phone so size-limited as well, but you are probably on to something about the potential for that to be (what is believed to be) #04R.

Also, it is coincidental that you'd find that now because ther was a thread on PH.com recently with the video of Jenson and Lewis there having a look over one of Ayrton Senna's MP4 Formula One car. In it someone added this post:

The thread for anyone who is interested.

Also, what that on the bottom shelf under the grey cover to the left of one of the 1990's F1 cars?....

Re: McLaren - Unit 2

Not the scan, I haven't found that yet, but the background in these 2 pics looks like the same kind of place....

Re: McLaren - Unit 2

Thought this was interesting enough to share but I didn't know where else to stick it. Has a brief mention of Unit 2, but the primary subject matter is a little different.
