Re: Maserati Boomerang (Airfix, 1/24)
I continue works on a body. My brother has helped me, having done a CAD model of the basic lines of a body.
I made some templates from cardboard and fixed they on a surface. The roof was glued to the upper template and fixed on the bottom template and the table surface. Then the front pillars was glued to the body. Then the rear pillars was glued. I made the two additional templates for this purpose. The work on the front hood started. It was used an another one template. |

Re: Maserati Boomerang (Airfix, 1/24)
Hello! The work is still on hold, but some events are taking place around.
Yesterday I have received a parcel with a multimedia kit of Boomerang which was bought in Japan. The manufacturer is SMP24. I will take the most of parts from this kit, excluded the body and the wheels which are not correct to my eyes. Now I want to show you a short review of this kit. |

Re: Maserati Boomerang (Airfix, 1/24)
5spdstang: Of course, you are right. I have presented my 3D model of the wheel to Takashi Nishimura. Afterwards he has slightly modified my wheel to adapt it for better casting. But I don't like these changes. In addition, the tyres must be smaller in dia, and the rear tyres must be wider than the front ones.
