Which fuse blows when the key is turned on, fuse 5 or fuse 1 in the instrument panel fuse panel? Both are 15-amp fuses.
With a new fuse installed, do the hazard lights work with the key off? Do all the bulbs flash with the hazards on? -Rod |

If you'd like a copy of the wiring diagrams from the factory service manual, send me a private message with your request and an e-mail address for you that can accept PDF attachments.

Re: no turn signals 95 taurus gl
There are a lot of circuits running off of that fuse #5. You've got your work cut out for you in determining which is causing the fuse to blow when the key is turned on. The effected circuits are listed below. Keep in mind that your Taurus may not have all of these options.
Since you know what it takes to get to the multifunction switch, you may want to leave that unplugged and see if the fuse still blows with that disconnected and the key in the "run" position. -Rod |
