Do you have to have a Z to play this game? Like if you had a Z what you would do with it?

Re: ULTIMATE ENGINE SWAP ver.2!!!

Errrr ummm yeah... Ok a Z31 two seater with a RB30ET block and a RB26DETT head (if it can fit) under the hood. So the motor would be RB30DETT. with what ever tranmission will fit (for lack of nissan know how) with the turbo hood scoop... And if that dosn't work I'll go with the Z31 with a RB30DETT.

I'm pretty sure there were no RB30ET's.... but I'm positive there was an NA RB30DE.... correct me if I'm wrong.

the RB30ET it was in the R31 skyline. they put a turbo on a 3.0l sohc motor instead of a dohc motor (i don't know why).

Re: ULTIMATE ENGINE SWAP ver.2!!!

Yeah, you can take a RB30 block, and slap on a RB26 head.

It's expensive to do, but you end up with a 3 Liter DOHC TT setup. Affectionately known in the Nissan groups as 2JZ eaters.

But, they do that already with RB26DETT's hehe.

Anywho, they're monster motors. Can make colossal power if you have the money to build it.

And I believe you can only pick up the RB30 blocks from Australia. From what I've been told thats the only market that got them. Random if it's true.

Re: ULTIMATE ENGINE SWAP ver.2!!!

Yea Matts right... It cost about $5,000 if done right... Really kind of expensive if you ask me

I still say VH45DETT though... That would be a fun car.

Re: ULTIMATE ENGINE SWAP ver.2!!!

Witch ever, you still end up with a 3.0L twin turbo inline 6 in a 300zx.
