95 S14. What's "RPS"? I'm looking into getting 2...one is right by my house: White 95 SE with auto trans...5,000...cheap. The other is in somewhere in GA: Red 95 with mods...5 speed...6,800...cheap. Either or would work fine for me. I'd kinda prefer the manual though so if I decide to mod the thing down the road, I can.

Ah...got ya. The 240 is cheaper than most Z32s out there. I was surprised how cheap it was for how good of condition it's in.

What REALLY surprises me is how FUCKING HARD IT IS to BUY A CAR...I'm trying to GIVE SOMEONE MY MONEY and having TROUBLE finding someone to TAKE IT!! Who would have THOUGHT?! If they don't approve me for the damned 240, I'm saving up for a few weeks and buying a nice Z31. I'm SO SICK of this run-around bullshit...

yeah, i have to join you in finding a new car, i lost my 300zx 3 days before Christmas! It sucks! I had a tire blow out doing about 50 mph in medium traffic in the inside lane next to a median. It was the front left tire, once it blew it jerked the car to the left and into the median, i then corrected the car so i wouldnt go over the median and into the on coming traffic. Damn that road!!! Lol it wasnt wide enough for me to correct it so i poped the side walk and ran into a tree and was ejected from the car (was wearing a seat belt, slide through it from the right side and was ejected from the t-top)....the car didnt wrap around the tree but rather hit it behind the rear tire well and bounce off the tree, none the less, it was totaled! From the police diagram it shows where i was about to correct, however, once i poped the curve i went onto grass that was wet and couldnt get any traction and just slammed into the tree. I feel so ashamed, lol, i feel like i am a bad driver! But having been in this accident, i dont think my parents will agree on me geting another 300zx, therefore, i dont know what kind of car to get.

Explain to your folks that it could happen in any car, and luckly you were in a Zed and it most likely saved you life.

Ok...the 240SX guys denied me credit...big wow there. I love how I can finance a $22,000 Prelude but not a $5,000 240SX. They said they wouldn't finance me cuz I have another car...like that makes sense.

So my dad was like...I'll help you. He cosigned on it and it went to a different bank. I called the car dude yesterday afternoon and he told me THEY denied HIM...and he has great credit...they said it was cuz he has other cars. So fucking stupid. I told him to forget it.

As one last resort, I called the dude at Honda cuz I gave him a few cars to keep an eye out for for me. He said he got a line on another Prelude and will let me know on monday or tuesday.

To be honest, I really don't care what happens. I'm saving money now...ultimately, I'll get something on my own. If something else works out, that'd be just a bonus.

My three picks for a commuter would be a 1992 Sentra SE-R, similar year Impreza, or another prelude. Don't overlook the 4th gen VTEC prelude.

Well the issue with credit is. If you have a recent payoff or a outstanding debt somewhere it will limit you on your financing choices. Also the year and milage of the car make a HUGE difference. Its easier to get financing for a new car than for a car over 5 years old. And damn near impossible for a car with more than 100k miles on it. I got lucky I was ex-military with my car. They financed me up to 100k miles and over 10 years old.

I went and drove a Cl...didn't really care for it. It was a VERY nice car...don't get me wrong...it was just a little too cooshy for me...it was like a Caddy had sex with a Prelude and pooped out that car. Nice car...just not right for me.

My dude at the Honda dealer is still looking for something for me. If he finds me something, cool...if not...whatever. I'll get a car in a few weeks when I have the cash.

SER's are damn good car's... my first Nissan! I owned a '92 and then a '02! Great cars! 240sx's are becoming the new 'civic-rice-car'... alot of them are being stolen at an alarming rate (so are Z32's so be careful out there boys!)... but they are good cars too. Get a 91-93 coupe! How about a JZA70 Supra?
