2003 models comin in...
Good idea?
BMW 330ci 2003 model ---------------------------- Full options SMG M-Sports kit I'd get the first one off market shelf in my region cuz the main dealership screwed my old order for a 330ci and promised it to me... But I run the risk of BMW doing any drastic changes to the new models thatd hinder preformance... from the physical body all the way down to the suspension settings of the car... BMW's trying new things now... you think i should run the risk? |

Do you know when they will start accepting orders for the 2003 3 series?

Still questioning if going for the new 3 series without seeing it is a good idea or not... |

the 2003 will not be a new model 3 series, but I have heard that some exterior changes might be made. If I were you, I would wait until I could see a definite picture of what it will look like.

I woudl also wait, worst thing that could happen if you wait and see is that you might get your car a week later. whats a week to be on the safe side?

Same position
Hi there, this is my first posting in the forums.
I am in a similar position to yours, as I want to import a 330Ci to the UK and already have quotes but I am hesitant to place the order because I heard rumors about a facelift for the coupe and cabriolet range. Olease let me know when you hear anything about it and I will do the same. Regards Emad |

I'd wait to see the 2003 model. You never know, they could make it look as hideous as the new 7s.
Question - Are they ever gonna bring the 318 back to the States.

WAIT!
You should definitely wait until some pics materilize somewhere on the internet of the 2003's.....as a previous post said...they may give the 3 series that hideous rear end of the new 7's (personal opinion)........no offense to you 2002 3 series owner's...but im glad I was able to pick up my new 2001 325i Tit. Silver Met./premium/winter package this past November before the 2002's really hit the lots. I just prefer the more aggressive looks of the 99 - 01 E46's......Thanks!

Go for the 2003! Obviously the folks at bmw know what they are doing, they are not going to make the 2003's with worse performance than the 2002's! I could be wrong but I believe I've seen pics of the new 3 series on bmw's official site, and the tail lights are not like those of the new 7 series, however I do think those look awesome! These opportunities don't come everyday - take it if you can!

I talked to a salesman at the Leith BMW in Raleigh NC today. He was confident that the Ci's would not change the front facia as per the I's did this year; they would keep the aggressive styling. BMW apparently keeps their sales staff informed, and he says he has heard no announcement of major adjustment of the from styling to be like that of the 4 door.
However, he was certain that there would be a few minor cosmetic changes to update and differ it from a 2001 and 2002. This change would be by 2004. First post. -ed |
