My favorite vette engine is....mine ! 1970 454 cid with 390 h.p. and 500 ft lbs tq. at stock level. The highest advertised torque out of all the engines (of course, the L88 even though it was rated at less, im sure delivered more h.p/tq).
I think the new LS2/zo7 motor coming out in the new C6 ,is going to be a very very popular motor for many years to come. My LEAST favorite vette engine is the 1975 california engine : 350 cid / 165 h.p. The family station wagon could keep up with it. Its a shame that its even mentioned in vette magazines . Dave
