Re: Revell BMW Z1
Funky, I would say. I definately have worse, and am looking forward to building my Z1, but some of Revell's design choices certainly leave me shaking my head on this one. The retractible doors are cheesy and annoying (if I wanted to play with opening doors, I woud have bought a diecast), the wheels are going to get some rebuilding, and the engine block is curiously devoid of expected details. It's going to take more effort than Revell's reboxed Hasegawa 944, but I'm confident it can be turned into a decent build.
For half price it was worth getting, if you groove to odd Bimmers.

yeah, it was either the Z1 or the Ferrari 308GTB i believe if i can remember but only 40 or something parts, there were the only 2 revell kits left on the shelf
i previously bought the Revell rebox of the Hasegawa Porsche 944 turbo for half price from the same shop |
