picked up 83 ram van

hi i'm new on this forum but i was wondering if anyone could give me some info; well here it is- i moved into this house 8 mths ago and the little old lady that lives beside me husband died about 4 mths ago, anyway to make a long story short i got to know her and she wanted to get rid of some things in her garage (one was this white ramvan) the van has some surface rust (i know big deal) and is solid underneath, it also has the woodgrain paneling inside which is in very good shape, she showed me the ownership and it was a 83 with a v6 anyway she said she phoned the wreckers and they offered her 150.00 without looking at it. The van doesn't run but she said her son in law went only as far to try a fresh battery in it it didn't start (i don't even know if it turns over) so i told her i'd give her 150.00 and pick it up next week. So my question is is this a slant 6? how many cubic inches were these v6's was it worth my time to buy this van? thx

Slant 6 is 225 cubic inches, and will run forever with proper care. I'd say give her the $150, it will make a great vehicle once you get it up and running.
