Great stuff guys, this thread is very inspiring. For me, sketches are more worth than a finished rendering.
This is a practise I did a few weeks ago: I drew cars that I could imagine from my mind, without any references. I failed on a few, but others went quite well. I can really recommend that, its a fun and very interesting challenge.

Thanks for your comments guys! I have a some kind of personal relationship to each of those cars. Many of them are cars I've driven on my own, or friends cars, or my favorite racing game cars... and when i drew the Bug and the VW T1, it reminded me of lemorris haha...

Knight--nice one, has a designer/concept art look to it.
Was doodling a bit the other night and thought I post a couple of pages. On this first one was playing around with proportions and viewing angles.  Changed things up after the top row and worked on what I consider my weakest area, drawing a toon with a strong side profile view. I tend to screw up this view too easily ...  |
