4 or 6?
Why does volks consider the current lupo to be a mark 4, when it is completly different from the orginal 'mark 4'. Since the deput of the 'mark 4', volks have made 2 complete face lifes.
Can volkswagen count past 4?

Just 1 year difference, maybe these are bad examples, but there almost changed the car many different times in just a couple years.

As far as I know, the current Lupo is the first generation Lupo. On the other hand, it is based on the fourth generation Polo platform.

This is the new Polo:
They look similar on pictures, are both based on the a04 platform, but the Lupo is a lot smaller in person. |

Guess that's why they dont ship it over here, being that amercians like their wastful SUV's and vans, not classy small cars

Yup, no matter how fun the Lupo GTi is to drive.
VWVortex once had a petitions to convince VWoA to bring the Polo over there, don't think they even cared. |

Wow. I've just arrived in europe. (I've been here before a couple times but before I knew anything about cars.) I saw the Polo and Lupo and yes, they sure are smaller then they look in pictures, but still I great looking car. I'm simply amazed at all the nice cars though. Back in vancouver, there were alot of pontiacs and other cars that I don't care for. I'm also amazed at the price for cars. Some almost double what people pay for in vancouver. Even with the high prices for gas and cars, people still have nicer ones. I still haven't quite found the solution to this paradox but some might have already taken the time to think it over. Please respond. :bandit:
