Wheel bearings

Honda Civic Coupe 2005. I had my right front wheel bearings changed about a year and 3 months ago. 3 months ago it started getting a little bit noisy again. The guy at the repair shop told me to drive on it some more. He wasn't quite sure if it was the right or left. It's been more than a month since then and still it hasn't gotten any louder. I'm wondering what's going on inside there. ?? Usually it gets gradually louder and more pronounced.
