Golf 3 Throttle Body.
Hello.
The RPM on my Golf 3 constantly jumps around, in idle or in gear. I've changed the spark plug wires, spark plugs, distributor cap and the rotor. I've taken the car to a couple of shops, one of them was clueless, the other told me the car computer shows that everything is working perfectly. They told me I should change my throttle body entirely. But one thing made me doubt it. I disconnected the connector that's highlighted in the picture below. Once i disconnected it, the RPM stopped jumping. The engine started working very nicely, but it couldn't always stay working on idle and would cut out. Is there some sort of throttle position sensor on this TB? Do i really have to change the whole thing?
