Loud tapping from engine
Picking up a 1996 Achieva with a 2.4L Twin cam.
Got it for dirt cheap and hoping good results with the engine. The engine Has a loud tapping when it's running. Here's a video. http://www.computervitals.com/files/ Double click into the 1996 Olds Achieva directory and the video will be there. It's an AVI xvid video. if you can see the video you'll still be able to hear it. It sounds like a smaller Kobota tractor running. I'm going to bring it into my garage and pull the cam covers to check it out. Also wondering if anyone knows where I can get a master engine rebuild kit for this engine? |
