Re: bass friendly cars???????
I own a station wagon, and with the stock speakers in it, it sounds extremely good. The rear speakers are in the gate, so you can feel the vibration in the front, and you can see it in the mirror. I havent installed my sub in yet, but when i do, i expect it will rock. Theres a spare tire area at the back on the one wall of the car, all i need to do is take out the tire and put the sub in there, and it should vibrate throught the whole car. I also have the option of using my rear facing seat pan as a hidden sub compartment.(the rear seats fold down into the floor.) This is in a 90 buick century limited wagon. Under the middle rear seats is a small space for like 2 4 inch subs, or maybe 6 inch skinny subs. If you wanted to get stupid with a wagon, you could fiberglass the whole rear end and have 6 12 inch subs with 3 amps. Theres enough room in my car for it. Plus, the station wagons are cheap, and cheap on insurance. Its up to you though. If your looking for good sound and lots of room, a station wagon is a good thing to go with. Just make sure its not a ford.

Re: bass friendly cars???????
You guys make me laugh. ANY vehicle can be a bass hog without sounding like a baby's rattle on the outside. It's all in the install. Granted, some vehicles are a little easier as in you can only install stuff in a certain way like a 99 Z28. You have no choice really but to install the subs way in the back where the tub is.
Yes, a Grand Prix with some prefab or piss poor box loaded in the trunk firing to the rear will rattle big time. But, if you take that same car and actually build a the right box for it and the subs, they sound awsome!
