HELP! Can i update my COMMAND by Myself?

i have a E300, days ago, i found that the nagivation in the COMMAND was too out, what is more, some fault codes were still exsiting there. but my home was far away from the Benz 4S workshop. and my car was so old that may be expensive to update the nagi and diagnostic whats wrong with it.

right now, i find a web shop in japanese who sale http://www.kobd2.jp/wholesale/201307...s-t30-hdd.html just 100 drs, i can accept.

But i still hesitate that, can i finish the work??? is it easy to do??? hope someone who had done this tell me some tips. or tell me how to deal with these two problems easily.

with many many thinks.
