San Andreas's PC Information

Ok, June 7th is it's release date.

http://www.rockstargames.com/sanandreas/pc/

But here's the shit part:

I'm practically up for a new computer because if I don't upgrade extensively, it'll be just like when GTA3 was released on the PC, but much, much worse.

Just for the recommended requirements, I'm going to (and you guys will) need;

A Pentium 4. Ok, done, I'm running 2ghz.

384mb RAM. Bugger, I'm only doing 256, and that's shit as it is.

16x speed DVD-Rom drive...I don't know the speed of mine, how can I find out? It doesn't say on the front of it.

4.7gb of free hard drive. Geez, that means I'll have to delete some porn.

128mb video card. I've got a 64mb shitty one, I've been wanting to upgrade for yonks cause my otherone blue up while still on warrenty, but guess what? they put a shitter one in, I had a mx440, they put a mx200 or something in. Totally ripped off, and when I went back to abuse the shit out of them, they said "well, you didn't say put the same one back in" WTF?!? You bunch of shit sticks.

Peace out.

Re: San Andreas's PC Information

there were patchs for GTAIII, I got it to run perfectly. I got VC to run perfect as well.

I'm going to have a bitch with SA though. Giggle, this should come with multiplayer (it doesn't from what I know). Rockstar are aware of mulitytheft auto on VC, they should incorporate it into this one.

Re: San Andreas's PC Information

Actually i think the next installment may have a online or mult player mode. Cause as you said rockstar is very aware and have praised the multi theft guys. Sounds like all i need is some ram. Although i need a bigger 2nd hd *got a 40gb and a 80gb, damn shared folder takes up like 20gb*

Re: San Andreas's PC Information

why hire them when they could do it them selfs?

Rockstar could make MILLIONS extra off the PC version if they put the multiplayer on, think about it -------> best ps2 game ever released, now with online muliplayer! Makes sense?
I know I'd be buying it if it had the online thing, but now I'm just going to "aquire" it.

I picked up San Andreas today. We had a power out all morning but I played it this evening. It runs very smooth. The mouse is glitchy but I just need to make it slower. The graphics are much crisper than ps2, and it runs smoother. Also I can't wait to play multi theft auto. I'm able to run it with all the graphics turned up pretty high. Over all i'd give it a 9.5 out of 10. They could have changed a couple things for pc, but its a very good game.

Here are my specs-
Athlon XP2800
512mb of ram
geforce 6200 oc 256 agp 375mhz core clock
160gig hd
16x dvd drive
xp pro
samtron 96bdf 19" flat monitor
mx 510 logitech optical mouse.

Its definently worth the $50 guys!
