buick air filter

hard to get cover off to change air filter on my cxl 2006 buick lacrosse does any one else have this problem

It would help to post what model LaCrosse you have or engine.

CX and CXL have the Series III 3800 V6 engine and the CXS uses the VVT 3.6-liter V6.

does anyone have a problem removeing the cover on a cxl 2006 buick
lacrosse to get at air filter? my 96 buick regal was easy

If it was easy,l you wouldn't need a mechanic to fix it.

I Have A 05 With Same Engine, Yes The Air Filter Is A Little Hard To Change.. You Have To Be Determined To Do The Job, And Just Do It.. Joncar

Thank you,about advice on ypur 05,your right I ask the service adviser,and now i know how to change filter.It seems to me that should of made a little easer to change since when you go in for a oil change they not going to check it.
