Got some Tamiya stuff Today!!

Today I got some Tamiya stuff.
I got glue (its liquid with a brush, very nice!)
Some masking tape, 6mm
3 acrylic paints (tan-yellow, aluminum, gloss black)

For Christmas, I'm getting a few Tamiya kits (skyline, mini, probably)

What else should I get, and some tips on how to do a really good job.

Dont ask me how to do a good kit, but most of the members in this forum are modelling gods, and are able to give good help.

If you need help avoiding cock-ups, ask me, Ive seen alot of them

I suggest taking the time to read the "Important" threads in this forum. Some very good stuff in there, definitly worth the read.

I hope you enjoy the hobby

That masking tape is great.
Pick up some Tamiya polish, if you can. It's in a white tube that says "Compound."

I prefer to use they're acrylics and sprays for everything, but that's just me.

Also, buy some glue called "Krystal Klear" made by Micro-[something]. It's great, dries clear, and doesn't melt the plastic. I used a ton of it on the NSX, mostly for all the details.

Edit: And thanks for your post in the "Getting Started" thread, Rich.
