Re: Zakspeed Turbo Capri 1/12 Scratch
Holy moly,
what a lot of work until the masking is ready. Still two or three days work to do. I try to put another layer of white color on it before i start with the blue color.I hope that this layer don't let the blue color under the masking tape? I'm not sure, but i thought this can be helpful? Christian |

Re: Zakspeed Turbo Capri 1/12 Scratch
Best way to seal the edge of masking tape if you're worried about bleed under is with a clear coat, although I doubt a coat of white is going to hurt it any either.

Re: Zakspeed Turbo Capri 1/12 Scratch
Hello,
the color part is done now. It's a fifty-fifty feeling for me. On one site its looking good with the white stripes on. On the other side there are some parts who must be repaired with the pencil and one bigger part under the front grill with sanding paper. It is still a lot of work to do before i can set the first decal on it. But it's ok for this masking marathon. kind regard Christian Christian |

Re: Zakspeed Turbo Capri 1/12 Scratch
Thanks for those words!
Today i made the first layer of decals. The white decals are not 100% ok.The blue color can been seen through, but i have allready ordered a second decal sheet. I think it's looking quiet good for me. Christian |
