Starting issues also..........

My 2001 Grand Caravan was running fine. just shut it off and went to start it this morning and nothing, no crank, no ignition.......I found a corroded wire that feeds the PCM under the fuse block under the hood that was basically corroded in two.

Cool, sliced it back together, tied up all the loose ends and...........it will run and idle, but won't accelerate. When you touch the accelerator it dies. It will idle all day, but just touch the accelerator and it dies. I took it back apart and checked under the fuse block for more corroded wires, and found one that had SOME corrosion, so I cut it out and spliced it back.....all others LOOK fine. It still idles but won't run.

WHAT THE HECK! Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

CE light and codes? May have internal IPM damage or corrosion. Open it up and have a look. Might test Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) and harness condition. http://troubleshootmyvehicle.com/chr...he-tp-sensor-1
